If you have arranged to have photos sent in instead of attending the office on Tuesday, photos will be sent to the front desk where they will be filed into your chart for Dr. Lee to observe.  Once he has seen them, we will arrange a reply with your results and information sheets on the items that tested positive.

Please do not shower the markings off your back until the photos are sent in.  We will expect them to rub off a bit during normal wear from clothing and sleeping, but hopefully some will still remain for reference. We also want to avoid any shampoos or soaps making contact with the area and possibly compromising the results. Please do not apply any topical lotions, ointments etc until after the photos are in. 

Dr. Lee will usually take a wide-angle shot with your phone of the patches applied. This is to give him a reference to compare with the photos you will send in. 

We will need a total of about 9 photos: 

• Another wide-angle shot of the entire back with the patches removed. 
• A close up of each of the patches so that Dr. Lee can observe changes in the skin. 

Depending on the file sizes, as cell phone camers are much more advanced nowadays, you may need to send the photos in smaller batches in order for them to be able to go through email. 

You may also send them via our upload link, but make sure they have filenames that identify the you, as we may not know which patient they are for otherwise.  

Once photos are reviewed, we will send a reply with the results and pdf information sheets on each item that was positive. The information sheets will tell you what the compound is, where it is likely to be found, and other names that it may appear under in ingredient lists.
